TBN Europe broadcasts on the Eutelsat Hot Bird 8 and Eurobird 1 satellites (Sky Digital channel 583). Both satellites reach Europe, the Middle East and parts of North Africa and Asia. The channel is free to view to everybody.

We currently transmit 24 hours a day mostly in English only, although there are some spoken French, Dutch, Romanian and Hindi/Urdu language programmes and German and Russian sub-titled programmes shown.

HOT BIRD 8 (13° EAST) TUNING DETAILS

Your satellite receiver should point 13 degrees East. To do this, find south and then move your dish 13 degrees towards the east.

On 15 May 2004, TBN Europe changed from analogue to digital transmission on Eutelsat Hot Bird 6. It is no-longer possible to watch TBN Europe using an analogue satellite receiver.

EUROBIRD 1 (28.5° EAST) TUNING DETAILS

We also transmit a DVB digital signal on Eutelsat Eurobird 1 satellite (28.5 degrees East).

TBN Europe's tuning on Eurobird 1 changed from 11.681 GHz Vertical to 11.662 GHz Horizontal on Thursday 6th May.

This change affects all viewers watching us on Eurobird 1 using a non-Sky receiver, for example a Christian TV system. If you were able to receive TBN Europe before, but not since this date, it is probably because you need to re-tune to our new frequency. Viewers using a Sky Digibox do not need to change any settings as these re-tune automatically. Viewers watching on Hot Bird 8 or cable are not affected by this change.
